Fence Consumed by Flowers

6 x 8 inches, oil on board.
$100

Our morning glories have digested the fence and appear to be looking for additional conquests. We are continually rescuing neighboring plants from their stranglehold.

This dark purple variety is truly a morning glory; they open for only a couple of hours. On hot humid days (we've had plenty) they barely manage to open at all.

I have not had time to paint recently. For the past month Kay and I have been busy packing. We will be leaving New York and moving to Oregon in mid-September. I will post more about this move in the next few days. I'm hoping to paint and post while we travel, but still have some technical details to work out.
