I just accessed your homepage and went directly to your blog to see if there was any new posts. My first thought was "WOW!" when I saw your new post "Window". I really like it. The contrast is great, between the color of the room, the blue in the curtain, sunlight coming through it and then the green of the trees and grass all being illuminated by the sunlight. This gave me the Wow feeling. It reminded me of the painting you did with a curtain back in the old Overton Str. days. Even the patch of sunlight on the floor adds to the flavor of this painting. Very well done. Have I overdone it with praise?

Go Obama and Ciao,
Chris

I love this one too. The light is fantastic and it has a wonderful light, loose, painterly execution. Just beautiful.

Thanks guys. Never too much praise, no.
This is a subject I have always been attracted to. Windows, curtains, separate spaces, light. I need to do a series of these sometime, much larger...
