It's fun to see something new up here all the time, especially when it is something you have just finished. This is very nice and I would not know that you had only spent 3 hours on this.
Charles said... The rose is beautiful but I don't get the part about keeping it simple. By definition simple means (not elaborate, lacking decoration or embellishment and therefore plain in appearance) - a simple black dress-
One can only wonder how you can blend the colors and shapes to make something so pretty. It must be very satisfying to have such talent. Keep em coming.
I LOVE this one! That probably doesn't surprise you, does it? And speaking as someone who has NO talent (artistically speaking) or ability to interpret art, it certainly doesn't look simple to me.
I'm with Lynn. . . .I LOVE this one, too. And there's nothing simple about it. It's the simplicity of it that I love. And the fact that every "simple" brushstroke works beautifully.
