A record of my struggle to answer the big question "How do you work these dang paints?"
You'll find sketches and studies in oil, pastel, color pencil, pencil, and ink. I welcome comments, inquiries, and of course purchases.

Blue Ridge Parkway
3 x 6 inches, oil on board. $60
A week or so ago Kay and I drove from New York to North Carolina, where my parents live, and we really enjoyed the drive through Virginia near Shenendoah National Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The fall colors were really unbelievable, especially under an amazing blue sky. I wanted to stay there for a few weeks, but I only had one afternoon, so I (for better or worse) put my blinders on and did this tiny slice of ridge.
