Camping in the rainforest of the Olympic Peninsula was overwhelming in that there is so much beauty everywhere. It took me a day or two to figure out how to deal with it. So this first painting was done in our campsite.

Also I had to try out the new portable paintbox/easel I made. It's overbuilt; it would survive a direct asteroid hit. But it works.
