Arches National Park is in southeast Utah. This arch is very large; a person can easily stand in the smaller one on ground level. This incredible place has a bunch of arches and bizarre formations.

It's another hot, humid day here in NY. I wish I was out west.Those majestic landscapes--the vistas that go on forever--leave me feeling that life is full of possibilities after all.
The front page of the NY Times today was particularly alarming. I had to find refuge in my garden.
