Watching the Paint Dry
To tide you over, here's some modern art. Anybody know what it is?
A record of my struggle to answer the big question "How do you work these dang paints?" You'll find sketches and studies in oil, pastel, color pencil, pencil, and ink. I welcome comments, inquiries, and of course purchases.

Your silence speaks volumes.
To me this looks like one of three options: 1) a cheap Hollywood way of showing magma in a volcano, with the grey zones representing the cooling surface of the molten rock, 2) a poorly made pizza topping, and 3) leftovers in a frying pan which fried meat in a tomato sauce. Anyways it surely doesn't look appetizing. Perhaps you can give us a clue?
It's Art. I don't expect to understand it (or maybe it's mold growing on strawberry jam).
