Forcing a bush or tree to do what a human wants always grates on me. They should be allowed to unfold like Nature intended them to be. I have seen so many butchered trees, both in the USA and in Germany, that it just makes you angry. Huge tree trunks and thick branches sawed off to allow new spindly growth to occur. Oh well no use in ruining your day. Your drawing of the bushes reminded me of our neighbors in Sandusky, they always forced their evergreen bushes into round shapes and other forms. My father always let his bushes go their own way, which lead to neighborly complaints.
Your recent drawings and productivity are an inspiration!
