What is more beautiful than a forest of large electrical transmission towers? The geometric form and the black lines created by the wires should be captured in great art. Future generations should see what lovely landscapes 20th/21st Century humans have created. We should plant these towers in all our national parks! Think of it, we could exchange the national Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center with one of these towers. It would be great with all the Christmas decorations and the colored lights! Christmas carols around the tower. What a delight!
I've been kicking myself because I didn't scan a photo I saw recently in the NY Times. It showed a cell transmission tower in California that was carefully designed to look like a palm tree. It appeared fairly natural except for what looked like metal garbage cans mounted around the top.
