Afternoon Pink

The pink is a little easier to take in the late afternoon, when the light's behind it. And you can thank me for keeping the yellow forsythia screened behind the dirty window. In bright sun the yellow and the pink, right next to each other, well, she's a looker.

Thanks for toning down the pink! I actually like the colors in the drawing... & not a bad view.... under the circumstances.

Nice way to see where you live... through your drawings I'll look it over later when I have more time.

Those trees in the background look a little menacing. The house is what Iowan's refer to as "barn red" in this picture. Perhaps it's nostolgia but I like that old house.

The trees remind me of the buckeye grove at the San Joaguin Outdoor Education School (California), menacing yes, but it does create a certain level of excitement as it stimulates the imagination. I also like the "barn-red" color and the view through the window. The small patch of yellow is inviting and directs the eye softly in that direction.
