Sproing?
In the supermarkets here one can see various signs of spring: tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, azaleas, and also displays of lawn furniture, barbeque equipment, picnic supplies, and horsefly repellent.

I wouldn't mind seeing a drawing of some beef barbequing on the grill! Around the grill you could add a few tulips for color.
I really like your idea. It just might be the image that catapults me into the Metropolitan Museum.
