Many Large Cars Moving Rapidly

If you live on Long Island, chances are you spend a lot of time in a car. It is a heavily automobile-dependent culture. The roads are swollen with cars at all times of day, and a pedestrian is only an obstacle to a driver. I have taken to sketching while in the car (no mom, only as a passenger). It's interesting trying to draw moving objects and shifting scenery.

Have you been able to do any sketches of people (men of course) with unproductive facial hair?

I like this drawing because you have captured the way traffic feels here--a sort of frantic kinetic dissonance. By the way, gas is creeping up to the three dollar a gallon on Long Island. Yikes!
